ABOUT ME
I'm Ukrainian Artist who's currently located in Dubai. Having Artistic Family background helped me to get in love with arts and start discovering the whole world of it. Since young age I was performing on a stage as the Trumpet Musician in the orchestra and it was decided that art is something I want to be involved with whole my life. Aside of performing in the orchesrta I started to learn basic sewing skills and from time to time do small alterations for myself and the family.
First experience overseas I've got by working at La Perle Theatre by Franco Dragone as the wardrobe costume assistant. I showed my interest I costume altering and Jozef Koda, who was at the time head of Costume maintanance department saw the potential in me and started teaching more. I got familiar with different materials, techniques and at some point I started producing headpieces and other accessories which were eventually used I the show. Also during my employment at La Perle we did props and installations for the special event for the Ministry of Education of Dubai
Collaboration with Jozef Koda was a complete success and after 2 years working at La Perle, we moved to Hong Kong , where we partnered under Jezef's brand J1K with Limelight Costumes Limited on multiple projects such as: costumes for the "Norwegian Cruise Liners", Special Wedding ceremony in Las Vegas, award winning show "Untrainable Dragon" for the Universal Studio Resorts, Beijing. We also built an amazing Human operated Phoenix Puppets for the "Woodford Folk Festival" in Australia. which are still used at the festival every year.
After Installation of the Project for Universal Studio Beijing I separated for a year of time with my team and did the "EXPO 2020" project in Dubai where I had an opportunity to be the costume maintenance supervisor for the Australian event company "Artists in Motion". Our team was responsible for multiple shows and special events at the main Al Wall Dome at "Expo 2020 Dubai". Aside of working with the "AIM" team I had an opportunity to do parts of the costumes for the Christmas Night show with the Australian designer Paula Ryan and do the paint job for the Five Currents company for the closing ceremony of the Expo 2020 Dubai.
Before I returned back to Hong Kong I worked on 3 Dragon puppets for the special Event for Saudi Arabia. Time was extreme but I was able to achieve the expected from me result.
I got back to Limelight Costumes Limited to help with the production of the costumes for the Las Vegas Show "Awakening" The costumes designed ny Soyon Ann were amazing and complicated at the same time. With help of Limelight Team And Jozef Koda's team we were able to achieve mind blowing results.
After finishing the installation at Las Vegas, I decided to come back to Dubai where right away I got requested to do the puppets, props and costumes for the local Event companies.
